Read these instructions before using your printer.
1 Unpack
3 Install ink cartridges
1 Open the printer cover and cartridge cover.
2 Shake each cartridge as shown for about 5 seconds and
remove from package.
Caution: Do not open ink cartridge packages until you are ready to install the ink. Cartridges are vacuum packed to maintain reliability.

Printer error. Turn the printer off, check for jammed paper, then turn the printer back on. If the error does not clear, contact Epson.
The firmware update has failed, and the printer is in recovery mode. You will need to reattempt the firmware update. Have a USB cable ready, and go to www.epson.com/support for further instructions.
