2.1.2 Using AFUDOS to update the BIOS
To update the BIOS using the AFUDOS.EXE utility:
1. Visit the ASUS website (www.asus.com) to download the latest BIOS file for your motherboard. Save the BIOS file to a bootable floppy disk.

You can use the AFUDOS.EXE utility...

... the correct BIOS file is not in the floppy disk, the error message "Floppy not found!" is displayed. Make sure to rename the downloaded BIOS file as "K8NEB.ROM".
4. Insert the floppy disk that contains the BIOS file. If all the necessary files are found in the floppy disk, EZ Flash performs the BIOS update process and automatically reboots the system when done.

Recovering the BIOS from the support CD
To recover the BIOS from the support CD:
1. Turn on the system. 2. Insert the motherboard support CD to the optical drive. 3. The utility displays the following message and automatically checks the CD for
the BIOS file.
